Richmond Hill High School seniors gathered Wednesday morning at Wildcat Stadium in a local tradition.
As Photographer Meredith Ryncarz wrote, "there's something unforgettable about gathering before dawn for Senior Sunrise at Richmond Hill High School."
"As the first rays of light stretch across the field, the excitement of senior year begins to feel real. Music plays, Chick-fil-A in hand, and laughter echoing through the morning create memories that will last long after graduation. It's a simple tradition, but one that reminds every senior just how far they've come and makes every parent get a little teary-eyed. Senior Sunrise is more than just watching the sun come up. It's a chance to pause before the busy year ahead, a year filled with football games, homecoming, college applications, senior portraits, prom, and graduation. Standing together as the sky changes color symbolizes a fresh start and the beginning of the final chapter of high school. As the sun climbs higher, so do the hopes and dreams of the Class of 2027. Senior Sunrise serves as a reminder to soak in every moment, celebrate every milestone, and cherish the friendships that made high school unforgettable. It's the perfect way to welcome a year that will be remembered for a lifetime."
