George Wesley Thomas, 38, of Midway died Saturday afternoon after a motorcycle accident near the Bryan/Chatham county line.

Friends said he was riding his bike and came upon an area off Highway 17 near Kings Ferry that caused him to lay down the bike. Conditions caused severe injuries.
