Optim to host Wednesday chamber event
Richmond Hill/Bryan County Chamber of Commerce

The Richmond Hill-Bryan County Chamber of Commerce will hold its March Coffee & Commerce from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Optim Therapy office, 10200 Ford Ave., Suite 105. The topic will be “demystifying shoulder pain,” presented by Optim physical therapist Alan Manning.

Manning holds a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science and a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and also completed a Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy with the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy.

Topics to be discussed include rotator cuff dysfunction; the basic anatomy and function of the shoulder; rotator cuff injuries and the proper treatment of shoulder pain, including conservative treatments and when surgery may be required; and advice and demonstrations on prevention and self-management for rotator cuff dysfunction The Coffee & Commerce is complementary to RHBC Chamber members and invited guests and $10 for non-members. Coffee will be provided by the chamber.
