Richmond Hill City Council will hold a workshop on operating budgets at 6 p.m. at City Hall. That will be followed by a public hearing on a water and sewer study.

Also on the agenda are various departmental reports and the first reading of a request by SIMCOE at Creekside, LLC, to amend the master plan at Richmond Hill Plantation.

The property is located at Brisbon Road and Highway 144 and consists of 35.46 acres and is currently designated as commercial. The proposed revision to the master plan would replace the commercial designation with one for single-family'/multi-familydevelopment.

City Council also is scheduled to either approve or disapprove a records technician position at Richmond Hill Police Department, hold the first reading of an amendment to the city's revenue ordinance on water sewer rates and connection fees and approve or disapprove changes to the employee handbook.
