Congressman Buddy Carter, R-Ga., will host a town hall meeting from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 3 at the Bryan County Administrative Complex, 66 Capt. Matthew Freeman Drive.

Carter, a pharmacist by training, previously served as mayor of Pooler and in the Georgia House of Representatives and Georgia Senate. He sits on the Education and Workforce, Homeland Security and Oversight and Government Reform committees. He is in his first term representing Georgia’s First Congressional District. He is running unopposed for a second term in November.
