The city of Richmond Hill will host an open house on its comprehensive plan from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at City Hall.
The city also is conducting a survey about the plan, which can be found at www.surveymonkey.com/r/rhPlan. The survey runs through Nov. 21 and asks participants to rate city services, retail options, types of housing and challenges facing the city.
The open house will allow the community to participate in the survey in person via tablets and provide a venue for public feedback and opinions on various goals, issues and opportunities to further guide the development of the future vision for the city.
The Georgia Department of Community Affairs requires that communities complete and maintain a comprehensive plan to help direct future growth and development.
