City also may decide on changes to plans for development at 144, Brisbon
cityhall

Richmond Hill City Council will hold a workshop at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall to discuss a proposed revision to the Richmond Hill Plantation master plan regarding property at the corner of Port Royal Road and Sterling Links Way.

The workshop is open to the public.

Richmond Hill’s regular council meeting will follow the workshop at 7:30 p.m. Among the agenda items is one in which council members will either approve or disapprove a request by developer SIMCOE at Creekside, LLC to amend the master plan of Richmond Hill Plantation and allow the building of single- and multi-family homes on 35.46 acres at Brisbon Road and Highway 144. The master plan currently restricts that land to commercial uses.
