Low income families are hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic and many of these families are now homeless. “Everyone is facing their share of challenges due to the pandemic, and we know that low income families are really struggling, which is why we’re making a donation to Family Promise,” Fred Canady, President & Owner of Canady’s Heating + Air -Plumbing said.

Canady presented a $5,000 check to Family Promise on Thursday, at the non-profit organization’s Richmond Hill location at 177 Spruce Street.

“This is our initial donation to Family Promise. These are very stressful times and we want to do our part to help Family Promise keep struggling families together. We will be making an additional donation in the near future," Canady said. "From June 1, 2020 through July 31, 2020, Canady’s will donate 100 percent of profits from the sale of our virus-killing air scrubbers to our local Family Promise.”

Family Promise is on the front lines providing lifesaving interventions that keep families together. For more information about Family Promise, please go to https://www.familypromisebryancounty.org/.
