The Bryan County NAACP Armed Services and Veterans Affairs Committee kicked off “Snacks for Vets” at the VA Center in Hinesville.

The committee will provide  healthy snacks for veterans waiting their appointments at the center. This will be a monthly commitment by the committee and the Bryan County NAACP.  

The committee said it is proud to  be working with the center in addition to meeting one of the goals of the Bryan County NAACP in seeking a working relationship with government agencies. 

The BCNAACP would like to thank committee members Clyde Shephard, Shawana Perry and James Fulwood for their role in making this successful. Thanks also to Elisha Boyd at the Veterans Center for  helping to coordinate this event.
