YMCA of Coastal Georgia has officially expanded its EGYM strength training program to Richmond Hill at a ribbon cutting on Monday.

Exclusive to Coastal Georgia YMCA locations, EGYM is a digital fitness platform designed to ‘personalize and optimize’ exercise workouts for users at all fitness levels.

Richmond Hill Branch Director Stephani Mosquera cites EGYM’s accessibility as a major plus for new and regular gym goers at the Y.

“EGYM allows fitness to be accessible to all, so anyone can get onboarded into this equipment system and they could just go on a machine and they know exactly what workouts are catered to them and everything,” Mosquera said.

Mary Arocha, Senior Vice President, added, "EGYM-which is only available at the YMCA- represents the future of fitness, combining cutting-edge technology with the Y's commitment to inclusivity and community. We are excited to see the positive impact it will have on our members here in Richmond Hill, as we have seen amazing results in our other EGYM outfitted branches.”

Access to EGYM is included with a regular YMCA membership. To sign up for a gym membership with the Y, go to https://www.ymcaofcoastalga.org/ or visit your local YMCA branch.
