Children and adults alike will be treated to a free family movie night this weekend courtesy of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 244 Jerusalem Church Road in Pembroke.

The movie night is on Friday, Dec. 20. Free refreshments will be served from 6:45 p.m. to 7 p.m., The movie begins promptly at 7 p.m.

The adult movie is called Overcomer from the producers of War Room.

The children's movie is The Star, described as a small but brave donkey and his friends follow the Star and accidentally become heroes in the greatest story ever told -- the first Christmas.
