Richmond Hill PR firm to promote lighted boat parade

Lesley Francis Public Relations has been appointed to work with Fish Tales restaurant to publicize the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the lighted boat parade on Dec. 5.

Fish Tales is on the Fort McAllister Marina along the Ogeechee River near Richmond Hill, a few miles from the Intracoastal Waterway and Ossabaw Sound.

The restaurant is owned and operated by Richmond Hill natives Butch and Sherri Broome. The Broome family has been in the restaurant business since 1935.

LFPR was established in 2009 by British-born CEO Lesley Francis, who founded, built and sold a top-15 health-care specialty public-relations agency in the United Kingdome, hsdcommunications, before relocating to the U.S. LFPR specializes in promoting local businesses and organizations whose visions it shares and supports.

“Fish Tales is very much a part of the Richmond Hill community, and we want to celebrate this special anniversary of the boat parade,” restaurant manager Zach Broome said. “We selected Lesley Francis and her team because they are part of this community and have an excellent track record in generating awareness.”

Fish Tales invites the community to join in the boat parade or just watch from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. Photos with Santa, live music, awards, prizes and a fireworks show will take place.
