New vet starts at animal hospital

Richmond Hill Animal Hospital welcomes Dr. Hunter Brigdon to its team of talented veterinarians.  

Brigdon is trained in both large- and small-animal medicine and surgery and is interested in working with all species of animals, especially cows, horses and goats. RHAH will be offering all levels of large animal medicine and surgery, including cattle reproductive herd visits.  

Armed with the newest technology, Brigdon can provide equine dentistry services, in-house lab testing and on-the-field anesthesia for minor procedures. Brigdon is a U.S. Department of Agriculture-accredited veterinarian, available to write health certificates for domestic and international travel.  

A native of Richmond Hill, Brigdon attended school at the University of Georgia then went on to attend St. Matthews School of Veterinary Medicine. He enjoys fishing, hunting and competing in field trials with his black Labrador, Suzie.
