The Urgent Care Center of Richmond Hill is changing its name to EXPERCARE Urgent Care, according to a news release.

Staff, management, providers and ownership will stay the same at the facility, located at 60 Exchange St.

“We are grateful to the Richmond Hill community for helping us grow,” co-founder Catherine Corish Grant said in the release. “As we prepare to enter the next phase of our growth, it is important that we communicate our continued commitment to the community that has supported us since the very beginning — just because we are changing our name, it is still us, we are still the same people.”

The facility was founded in 2009 by Grant, Lori B. Gaylor and Robert A. Mazur.

Gaylor added in the release that “our patients will continue to see the staff that they have come to know and love over the years. The only change will be the name and the fact that we will, over time, be able to offer additional services that will continue to benefit Richmond Hill."

Among the services EXPERCARE Urgent Care offers are physicals and wellness checks, treating colds and flu, offering vaccinations and providing X-rays, lab tests, electrocardiograms, occupational medicine and specialty services.
