June 29: Vehicle traveling east on Hwy 80 going 75 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. Driver under the influence.

June 29: Deputy conducts security checks at Henderson Park. In the men’s latrine, the deputy sees toilet paper hanging loosely from the bathroom stall and looping around to multiple sides of the stall. There was a large amount of toilet paper stuffed into the commode, as well as a McDonald’s bag. The trash can was also inside the stall. The women’s bathroom appeared to be untouched.

June 29: Man reports that he had been scammed out of $45,600.

June 29: Car stopped for going 60-65 MPH in a 45 MPH zone. The driver did not have a valid license.

June 29: Woman reports that her daughter assaulted her by throwing a paperback book in her face. This incident started when she told her daughter to stop ‘cussing and yelling’ in front of the kids. The woman did not want to press charges but planned to obtain a restraining order.

June 29: Deputy looking for a suspected drunk driver that was called in from Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office in a black Chevrolet Silverado. A vehicle matching that description was driving through Pembroke, crossing the white line several times. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

June 29: A Blue Nissan Pathfinder was travelling on I-95 northbound, 89 MPH in a posted 70 MPH zone. The driver did not have a valid license.

June 29: Warrant served for a man wanted out of the Claxton Police Department.

June 30: Driver going 73 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. When the deputy initiated the traffic stop, the driver attempted to elude police, headed back towards Chatham County at a high rate of speed. The chase was eventually terminated.

June 30: A semi-truck driver reports that he was driving in the number #3 lane on I-95 southbound passing mile marker 83.5 when his outer rear left tire blew out and pieces of the tire stuck a passing Hyundai Tucson. As the two drivers pulled over, the Tucson driver exited her vehicle with a handgun and walked up to the vehicle with the handgun out but did not point it. The Tucson also stated that she over reacted, and that she is a retired Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Deputy.

July 1: Woman reports that an Amazon delivery vehicle struck her car in a Dollar General parking lot.

July 1: Man reports missing license plate registration decal; says that he didn’t receive it in the mail.

July 1: Woman reports threatening text messages from a co-worker.
