Agri-Supply expands Interstate Centre facility
Development Authority of Bryan County

The Development Authority of Bryan County (DABC) announced that Direct Distributors, a break-bulk distribution center for Agri-Supply, is under construction on an expansion of its existing facility in Interstate Centre in Ellabell.

The company plans to add additional warehousing space to help accommodate its growth and increase its ability to efficiently carry out its operations.

“Direct Distributors has been in Bryan County for about eight years now, and the plan was always for them to expand the building they built when they began operations here,” says DABC Chairman Jon Seagraves. “It’s really great to see a company that came here with the intention to grow experience success and then execute that vision for growth. This is just one more illustration of the fact that Bryan County is a great place to do business.”

Direct Distributors plans to add 30,000 square-feet to the company’s existing 30,000 square-foot facility. This additional square footage will primarily be used as storage space for inventory. The project is expected to be complete by May 31st of this year.

The company’s expansion also includes a few additions to its workforce. Direct Distributors anticipates hiring new employees to keep up with the additional workload created by the expansion. These new roles will include positions such as Material Handlers.
