Bryan County Schools bus driver JJ Bellemare was a winner in School Bus Fleet magazine’s 2022 photo contest -- the second year in a row he’s been a winner in the contest, which is open to school bus drivers around the U.S. 

Bellamare said this year’s photo, titled “A Clockwork Yellow,” is dedicated to mechanics Ron Farnsworth and Jerry Mitchell, shown in the above photo at the Richmond Hill bus barn. 

“The photo that won the contest is all about them,” Bellemare said in an email. “They are the reason we, bus drivers, get to leave the bus yard and drive safely every day. They are my heroes.”
