Another season is coming to a close, and kids are invited to help close The Springs water and spray park at Cypress Creek in the Corkan Family Recreation Area with a luau on Sept. 30, if the weather permits. It's free.
Come in costume, enjoy the music and enjoy the fruits of a Hawaiian picnic. Hours are 10 a.m. to noon for toddlers ages 0 to 5 and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for children ages 6-12.

Storytime: Flannel board at Stewart Library

AFAP Conference at Stewart
An Army Family Action Plan conference will be held at Club Stewart, building 405, from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 29-30, and from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Oct. 1.
Military ID cardholders are invited to participate or submit issues at the conference. Click on the AFAP 2010 icon on the Team Stewart Website www.stewart.army.mil/homepage to be a delegate and submit issues that affect the Army as a whole.

Pass & Permit Second Wildlife Photo Contest
Registration continues and the photo deadline is Nov. 9 for an annual Wildlife Photo Contest to be at 1 p.m. Nov. 10 at Stewart Pass & Permit Office, building 8093.
The theme is wildlife photography, so please, no photos of pets. Photo dimensions are 4 by 6 inches or larger and there is no limit to the number of entries.
There will be only one prize awarded per person for first, second and third place in the age groups 2-5, 6-10, 11-15 and 16 and older. A separate award for active duty soldiers will be awarded.
The contest is open to amateur photographers and entry fees are $5 (ages 2-15) per photo and $10 (ages 16 and older) per photo.
