KICKSTARTINGDOM It seems like everything has a Kickstarter page these days. Whether its raising money for your neighbors cat to get a holiday sweater or so a guy named Dave can get a chalupa, these pages are everywhere. All of these videos also seem to come with boring, bland and somewhat irritating videos.

If you have a dry sense of humor and appreciate the quirky, then this Kickstarter video may be the best one youve ever seen.

What We Do in the Shadows is a New Zealand made mockumentary about three vampires living together under one roof and trying to make it in todays society. Jemaine Clement of Flight of the Conchords fame and his long-time collaborator Taika Waititi made the film.

The film was a big hit at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and buzz about it has been circulating ever since. While critics and audiences alike loved the film it has yet to secure distribution in the U.S.

Enter Kickstarter.

Clement and Waititi made this video in hopes of raising enough money to get the film in the U.S. on their own. This video is clever, dry and hilarious, if you love this kind of humor. If you hate this kind of humor then youre probably more likely to give money to you neighbors cold cat over this.

To really appreciate this video you have to have a certain kind of sense of humor, but if that is your thing then the four minutes spent watching it just may be the best four minutes of your day.

The Kickstarter campaign to get an American release for What We Do in the Shadows has currently raised over $200,000 of a $400,000 goal with nine days left.
