A popular stage show, “A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline,” is coming to Tattnall County on March 18 at the Glennville City Auditoriam for a memorable evening of musical magic.
The show, which is associated with Springer Theatricals, features Katie Deal as the Queen of County Music, Miss Patsy Cline. Deal is one of America’s top Patsy Cline interpreters, officially sanctioned by the Patsy Cline Estate and Charlie Dick, Cline’s husband.
The daughter of Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal, Katie Deal is reprising a role she headlined during a sold-out national tour in 2006. She also starred in a production of “Always...Patsy Cline.” 
But of the two Cline musicals, Deal said she is partial to “A Closer Walk …” 
“This is the one I started with and the one I’m most attached to,” she said. “I think the music is better. What I like in this show is that it’s like a concert.”
A happy, loving tribute to one of the music industry’s most enduring superstars, this musical traces the legendary singer’s rise to stardom from her hometown in Winchester, Va., to the Grand Ole Opry, Las Vegas and Carnegie Hall.  With songs like “Sweet Dreams,” “Crazy,” “Walkin’ after Midnight” and “I Fall to Pieces,” this show cuts across country, pop, blues, gospel, and even jazz demographics. Twenty-one of Patsy Cline’s greatest hits are featured.
General admission tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children 18 and younger. Tickets are on sale now at The Glennville Sentinel, 105 W. Barnard St.  A limited number of reserved down-front orchestra seats are available for $25.  All proceeds will be donated to The Glennville City Auditorium Committee.
