Celebrity chef to speak in Bryan County

The Black Creek School Museum Committee invites the public to an evening with celebrity chef Sallie Ann Robinson from 7-8 p.m. Thursday, March 10, at the Bryan County Board of Education, 8810 Highway 280 E.

Robinson is an American cookbook author, chef and cultural historian. She will discuss early education on Daufuskie Island, cooking and living the Daufuskie Gullah way and more.

Robinson has authored two cookbooks on Gullah cooking, and has been featured on TV, including shows on Food Network, The Travel Channel and PBS.

Admission to the event is free.
