SAVANNAH — Best-selling author Tami Hoag will headline the Savannah Book Festival’s spring 2014 event at noon May 8 at The Landings Plantation Club on Skidaway Island.
Hoag, who has written more than 30 New York Times best-sellers, including crime-thrillers “Deeper Than the Dead” and “Secrets to the Grave,” has more than 30 million books in print.
“Our intent is to continue the momentum of the Book Festival throughout the year,” said Robin Gold, executive director of the Savannah Book Festival. “In the past, we have featured Pulitzer Prize-winning authors Robert K. Massie and Anna Quindlen in special events. Tami Hoag is another high-caliber author, who adds to the validation of C-Span calling us one of the top book festivals in the country.”
Tickets are $50 each and include lunch and a hardback copy of “The 9th Girl,” Hoag’s most recently published book.
Tickets go on sale March 28 for Savannah Book Festival LITERATI and Sponsors. LITERATI members may each purchase two tickets. The general public can purchase tickets beginning April 4.
