A ribbon cutting for the Bryan County Bark Park is set for 2 p.m. Nov. 5. It is near the ball fields in DeVaul Henderson Park.

Oct. 31-Nov. 1: Movie Night Under the Stars — The Ice Cream Stop in Richmond Hill invites the community to a free family fun night of movie-watching under the stars. Friday evening’s showing will be a PG-rated movie, and Saturday night’s movie will be rated G. The movies will begin at dusk. Guests are asked to bring a lawn chair. Nov. 1
Single Mom’s Free Oil Change — New Beginnings Community Church is offering a free oil change and wiper-blade change to any single mom within the community. Moms are asked to register by calling the church at 445-0196 with their car information. Moms are then asked to bring their cars to the church, located at 75 Crosswinds Drive, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. for the service. For more information, email

Veterans Salute — From 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at Bryant Commons in Hinesville, this free event will include entertainment, food, vendors, door prizes, a corn-hole tournament and more. The event is open to the public and parking will be available for free.

Nov. 4
Evelyn Fallon Ribbon Cutting — The community is invited to a ribbon cutting at 9:45 a.m. at the RHBC Chamber of Commerce office. Evelyn is a certified John Maxwell speaker, teacher and life coach.

Richmond Hill Farmers’ Market — Stop by the farmers’ market between 3-7 p.m. under the pavilion at the J.F. Gregory Park. A variety of produce and local crafts will be available for purchase. Nov. 5
Bark Park Ribbon Cutting — The community is invited to the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the Bryan County Bark Park, located near the ball fields in DeVaul Henderson Park. The ribbon cutting will take place at 2 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Nov. 6
Kid’s Dentistree Ribbon Cutting — The community is invited to the grand opening and ribbon cutting of Kid’s Dentistree from 1-3 p.m., at Clock Tower Building off Ford Avenue. The ribbon cutting will begin at  1:30 p.m.
