April 16: Pet Care and Adoption Fair — The community is invited from noon-3 p.m. to Jacob G. Smith Elementary School in Savannah for the fourth annual pet fair, which benefits participating local pet rescue agencies, as well as the school. There will be more than 30 vendors, including groomers, veterinarians and trainers. Services include low-cost pet vaccinations, heartworm testing, low-cost pet micro-chipping, pet nail clipping and dog washing. The event is free and open to the public. Movie Night Under the Stars — The Ice Cream Stop in Richmond Hill invites the community to a free family fun night of movie watching under the stars. The movie will begin at dusk. Guests are asked to bring a lawn chair. Visit the The Ice Cream Stop’s Facebook page for more information.

Bridal Fair Extravaganza — Brides-to-be are invited from 1:30-4 p.m.  to Club Stewart on Fort Stewart to find everything under one roof for that special day or large celebration. A variety of vendors will be available for hair, cakes, catering, travel, jewelry, photography, limousines and music. Those attending will be presented with gift bags and entered into a drawing for a trip or reduced room rental fees. More than 200 wedding dresses will be given away to future military brides. There will also be a fashion show, hair and makeup presentations, a Skinny Wrap demonstration and a table décor presentation. Cost is $5 for military and $7 for non-military. VOICES Performance — The Savannah VOICE Festival will offer residents and visitors a taste of the second annual festival by making a special VOICES performance at the Savannah Harbor Foundations’ AquaCurean Tail-End Jazz Brunch, located in the Club Pavilion of The Westin Savannah Harbor.
