Cimmunity theater to perform Shakespeare

Richmond Hill Community Theatre will perform an adapted version of Shakespeare’s comedy “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” March 23 at the John W. Stevens Wetlands Education Center in J.F. Gregory Park. Performances will be at
3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The production, which features more than 20 Richmond Hill teens, focuses on teenagers, fairies, royalty and six workmen colliding in a forest on a summer night and being stunned by a prankster.
“A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” or “The Night They Missed the Forest for the Trees,” was adapted by Mary Linehan Charles for young performers.
Tickets are available at the door for open seating. Costs are $10 for adults, $9 for those with military ID, and $8 for students and seniors 55 and adults with ID. Doors open 30 minutes before show time.
