The Richmond Hill Fire Department is looking for players and sponsors for its charity golf tournament on Oct. 8 at Sterling Links Golf Course.
All proceeds will benefit the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports fire-prevention education and hosts a summer camp for burn-injured children.

A hole sponsorship costs $300, or $450 with a four-person team.

The entry fee without being a sponsor is $200 for a four-player team and $50 for individuals. Included are the green/cart fees, food and beverages.

Money also will be raised with a raffle for a Yeti cooler prize package worth more than $300. Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20.

The winner will be drawn at 4 p.m. the day of the tournament and will not have to be present to claim the prize.

The tournament will have a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Registration will begin at 9 a.m.

For more information or to buy raffle tickets, call 756-3749 or stop by the Richmond Hill Fire Department station at 9964 Ford Ave.

The Burn Foundation partners with burn centers in Augusta and Atlanta to provide fire-safety education. More information is available at at the foundation’s website, www.gfbf.org.
