Friends of Library book sale is May 13

The Friends of the Richmond Hill Library will hold a book sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 13 at the library. Most hard backs will be $1 and most paperbacks will be 50 cents.

Books will be arranged in categories to help customers find what they are looking for. Examples include: art, architecture, film, photography, travel, exercise, parenting and relationships, history, biographies, business, finance, technology, African American interest; science fiction, mystery, adventure, politics, music; westerns and sports. Those looking for special genres can ask volunteers where those books are located.

The sale will feature some sets of vintage books such as Time/Life volumes, some children’s and adult books in foreign languages, and some local special interest books. Religious/spiritual/inspirational books will be on sale five for $1.

As always, FOL appreciates donations of gently used books. These can be brought to the library during regular operating hours. Tax deduction forms are available upon request.
