Think big with God this year

We have entered a new year, and God is just waiting to bless His people.
This is the year of the believer — if you can have faith and expectation, think big and nothing shall be impossible. Luke 12:32 says, “Don’t be afraid, little flock, because your Father delights to give you the kingdom.” The reason why is because Satan is being glorified all through the land and thinks he is in charge and ruling everyone on Earth.
Well, that’s a lie because God’s children do not obey him, but rather we obey God and glorify Him. Our purpose as men and women of God is to make known his deeds among men and glory him. In order to fully deliver this portrait, we must open our mouths and testify both orally and physically in our daily walk. When we do this, by letting our light shine, men will see our good works and glorify the Father in heaven, according to Matthew 5:16.
God blesses us every day with new mercies and with manifold blessings, and that is why we should thank Him daily. The songwriter Chris Tomlin wrote “How Great Is Our God?” Well, my answer is He is better than great; He’s better than awesome and is beyond words. My God is the best man in heaven and Earth, and none compare with Him. When we think big about a “big God,” we simply are thinking of things that only He miraculously could do. Abraham was asked in Genesis 18:14 if anything is too hard for the Lord. Well, Jeremiah answered this question in Jeremiah 32:27: “Ah, Lord God! Behold, Thou hast made the heaven and the Earth by thy great power and stretched-out arm, and there is nothing too hard for Thee.”
So in this new year, let us take everything to God in prayer with faith, looking to God to bring it to pass whether it is natural, physical, financial or spiritual. Matthew 21:22 says “And if you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
I am a living witness that God specializes in things impossible. Over and over again, my God has proved Himself to me. Just recently, he blew my mind. I was thinking big, believed God and trusted Him for bigger and better. He blessed me with a job that almost doubled my salary. So yes, I am telling of his goodness. He is a mighty God.
If we walk upright, seek Him continually and have a relationship with Him, He promises in His word that He will give us the desires of our heart if we delight ourselves in Him. I believe God and His word, and in John 15:7, He makes it plain that “if you abide in Me and My words abide in you, you can ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you.” Wow, my big God can do anything but fail. If you need healing, salvation, money or whatever, please believe God in 2015.
Remember this according to Ephesians 3:20: “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”
God is great, and He is worthy to be praised.
