Bryan Neck Presbyterian Church chapel means more to some South Bryan residents than just a place to congregate. It’s a bond to the past and ancestors buried at the adjacent Burnt Church Cemetery.
“It’s just sort of a link to the past,” said Bob Wilson, a Richmond Hill resident whose wife, Betsy, grew up in the church.
Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church will host a celebration of Bryan Neck chapel’s 125-year history at 3 p.m. Sunday at the church at 7196 Belfast Keller Road in South Bryan.
