New arts exhibition
Leahy Art Gallery Fine Art & Custom Framing held the opening of its newest arts exhibition on Friday, July 27. Owner Vikki Leahy brings in new exhibitions every six months or so, featuring all local artists. Currently featured at the gallery are works done by classical sculptor Issac Mock (pictured) and original paintings by Louise Yancey Streed from her book Savannah: Her History. The gallery also featured paintings done by Leahy’s husband James. Music for the opening was provided by guitarist Cesar Perez. The gallery is located at 11258 Ford Ave., Suite 4, 727-5330.
