Grand opening
The grand opening for the Bryan County Service Center is from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday at 9611 Ford Ave. in Richmond Hill.
The facility will be the headquarters for Bryan County Family Connection and the county office for the United Way of the Coastal Empire.
A program will start at 4 p.m. Refreshments and door prizes will be provided.

National Night Out
Pembroke will hold it’s annual National Night Out from 6-8 p.m. Aug. 11 in Dubois Square along with the twilight Whistlestop Farmers Market.
Hot dogs, bottled water, school supplies, activities and more will be available during the event.

Religious series
The Richmond Hill Church of Christ will host a series of lessons on creation/evolution Aug. 10-11 at 11651 Ford Ave.
The Aug. 10 seminar, “Atheism’s Attack on America,” will be at 7 p.m., with a question-and-answer session at 8 p.m.
The Aug. 11 sessions are directed at young people, but everyone is invited. The Aug. 11 schedule is: “Mt. St. Helens and the Age of Earth,” 10 a.m.; “The Dinosaur Dilemma,” 11 a.m.; “Was Darwin Wrong?,” 1 p.m.; and “Are You Convicted?,” 2 p.m.

Support group
The Asperger Support Group will meet at 7 p.m. Aug. 21 in the Richmond Hill Public Library for a roundtable discussion.
