Crowe, Young wed in spring

Mark and Becky Crowe of Pembroke are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Caitlin Danielle to Clifford Allen Young, son of Alan and April Young and Dianne and Jimmy Futch, all of Pembroke.
The wedding took place at 7 p.m. June 10 at Georgia Southern Botanical Gardens in Statesboro and had a country theme with a touch of elegance and was officiated by Justin Young, cousin of the groom. The bride wore a Val Stefani design mermaid floor-length gown of silk shantung in ivory with an asymmetrical neckline and handmade floral rosettes with Swarovski crystal centers and cowgirl boots.
The bridal party included Amy Meridith of Pembroke as maid of honor; Brooke Ellington of Fitzgerald and Madison Young, Jenny Young and Taylor Butler, all of Pembroke; Arien Hodge and Ally Butler, both of Pembroke, as junior bridesmaids; and Hanna Butler of Pembroke as flower girl. Bridesmaids wore a chocolate convertible wrap dress, known as the Venus dress, in different ways accented with a burlap broach and cowgirl boots.
The groom’s party included Alan Young of Pembroke as best man; Patrick Lane, Khristopher Fountain, Cody Crowe and Jeffrey Young, all of Pembroke, Dustin Horton of Port Wentworth and Drew Tarver of Los Angeles, Calif.; and Kolby Butler of Thomaston as ringbearer.
Ushers included Justin Covington, Benjamin Covington and Cameron Lee, all of Pembroke, and Austin Fortner of Ellabell. Wedding music was provided by Christopher Kohut of Savannah who played the lute.
A reception followed at Georgia Southern Botanical Gardens, where guests enjoyed music provided by DJ Shannon Harville, along with a candy buffet and a photo booth. Jenny Miller and Malissa served as caterers and Howell Carver served beverages, and the bride’s book was attended by Darlene Meridith.
The newlyweds enjoyed a honeymoon at Playa Mujeres Resort in Cancun, Mexico, and reside in Pembroke.
