Work at Black Creek School on again?

School board members Judy Crosby and Mary Warnell in the proposed BoE board room during a December, 2009 tour at the Black Creek School facility. The BoE has been working on renovating the historic school off and on since 2005.

The Bryan County Board of Education’s on-again, off-again effort to fix up the old Black Creek School for use as a central office is apparently on again.

Maybe.

School board members last month voted to ask architects to seek bids for site work such as paving and grading and drainage, and those bids will be looked at in July.

But whether one or more of the bids will fit the BoE’s budget remains to be seen.
