Students in Inga Cashon’s foundations of engineering class at Bryan County High School welcomed Ron Derian, a representative from WyoTech, on Sept. 4.

WyoTech is focused on career-oriented education in automotive industries. The presentation featured information about transportation engineering and technology as well as other WyoTech programs. Students learned about automotive technology, diesel technology, collision technology, motorcycle technology and student life.

Derian also explained admission requirements and tuition cost.

At the end of the presentation, students received WyoTech DVDs and filled out surveys on their career choices. Foundations of engineering is the first class offered in the engineering and technology education program at BCHS.
