SAVANNAH — Savannah Technical College’s dental-hygiene program announced its 2013 graduating cohort of 16 students successfully passed both the Central Regional Dental Testing Service practical licensing examination and the American Dental Association National Board Dental Hygiene Examination late in the 2013 spring semester.
Both exams must be successfully passed in order for graduates to apply for dental-hygiene licensure in the state in which they intend to practice.
This is the first cohort STC both to start and finish the program.
The Associate of Science in dental hygiene is an 82-credit-hour program. Students provide clinical patient care as a component of their curriculum requirements.
