Wildcats take Tigers 67-48 in Hinesville

The Richmond Hill Wildcats beat the Bradwell Institute Tigers 67-48 Friday.

The Tigers were able to compete in the first quarter being down only 10-9 heading into the second. But Richmond Hill took over the second quarter in terms of offense with seven different players able to score.

Senior guard Montest Bumpers lead the team in the quarter, scoring seven points and knocking down a three-pointer. The Wildcats outscored the Tigers 20-5 and went into halftime with a dominant 30-14 lead.

Bradwell continued to hustle in the second half, with senior guard Darryll Johnson hitting 2 three-pointers and scoring half of the Tigers points in the fourth. Johnson was the leading scorer for Bradwell and finished with 16 points.

Although they were able to score 34 points in the second half, Richmond Hill had the upper hand and played consistent through all four quarters, picking up the victory.
