Wildcats fall to Coffee County

Richmond Hill fell 51-17 to Coffee County on Friday night in Douglas in a nonregion football game. 

Zion Gillard was Plantation Lumber Player of the Game for the Wildcats, who fell to 3-3.. Gillard ran for 119 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries. 

Ty Goldrick completed 4 of 13 passes for 63 yards. Ravon Grant and Nick Bliss each had two catches. Caleb Easterling added 23 yards rushing on six carries.

Defensively, Brian Ruland had six tackles, one tackle for a loss, and Aiden Grant had six tackles. 

Blake Williams added a 33-yard field goal and two extra points.

Richmond Hill teachers were recognized as part of "Teacher Appreciation Night", which was hosted by the girls' varsity lacrosse game before their match against Evans County on Thursday, March 27.
