Friday, 3/29: The Wildcats exploded for 14 runs, on 10 hits, and took care of Camden County in game one of a key Region 1-7A doubleheader, by a score of 14-0.  Sophomore and right-handed pitcher, Noah Stone had an outstanding outing on the mound shutting out Camden, allowing seven hits, striking out three, in five-innings of work.

Lefty Ben Zwicker came in in relief and closed out the last two innings, without allowing a hit, striking out two, and not allowing a walk.

The Wildcat defense was also outstanding, only committing one error.  The bottom of the Wildcat line-up, made up of Connor Gilkey, Gavin Martin, Victor Villella, and Bryce Hendricks provided most of the fire power.  Gilkey was 2-3 and scored three times.  Martin was 3-5 with one RBI.  Villella was 1-2 with one RBI and scoring one run, and Hendricks had a double and a single, with two RBI's, and scored two runs.  The Cats scored two in the first inning, three in the fourth, one in the fifth, and eight runs in the seventh.  Kevin Hull was 2-2 at the plate, and Talon Daignault got the loss on the mound for Camden County.
