Two South Bryan County Recreation all-star baseball teams are competing for state championships after winning their district tournaments.

The SBCR’s 8U and 14U teams each took first place in the Georgia Recreation and Park Association District 2 tournaments June 19-22 at Richmond Hill Park.

The 8U all-stars won their division and advanced to the state tournament at Paulsen Stadium in Savannah. The tournament began Wednesday.
