The Wildcat golf team traveled to Fort Stewart April 17 for a match with Liberty County and Bradwell Institute. In the girls match, the ponds and out-of bounds markers newly placed proved too much of a challenge for the lone Wildcat Lady, Brittany Jarrell.

On the boys side, Tyler Steptoe led the Wildcats, posting a three over par round of 39 thanks to a clutch eagle on the last hole. Kyle Brannstrom carded a 43, his best round of this or last season to help the Wildcats to second place out of the three teams. Bobby McGrath and Ryan Tillman were the other two scorers for the Hill, with a 54 and 56 respectively.

Jason Lamson and Blake Beason ran afoul of the out-of-bounds markers.

The region 3AAA tournament took place on Monday and Tuesday, but results were not available as of press time.
