Sports briefs for March 15

The 30th Annual Robert Sapp Baseball Camp is accepting applications for its summer session to be held at the Richmond Hill Recreation Complex in Richmond Hill. The camp is May 24-28, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and is for boys ages 7-14. Six year olds may attend if they are skilled enough to play with the seven year old groups. The fee is $125 with team rates available ($10 discount for five or more players from one spring/summer league or travel league). Former Middle Georgia College and UGA head baseball Coach Robert Sapp will be the camp director. Several area high school coaches and present and past college players will also make up the staff. RH Classic

Former RHHS state basketball champs from the 1980s and 90s will compete in the 2nd Annual Richmond Hill Reunion Classic basketball event on March 26-27 at the Richmond Hill Recreation Center. Admission is $3 for one day, but $5 two-day passes are available as well. For more information, call Calvin Fulwood at (678) 361-9612.

Travel softball

Junior tennis

RHHS football

The Richmond Hill Wildcat Football program is looking for volunteer community coaches. Fitness classes
Mondays and Wednesdays at 10 a.m., throughout the month of January, the RHRA is conducting Fit For Life Fitness classes, which is beginning exercise for all ages. Call 756-4075 for further details.

Sandlot Sundays
Join the RHRA each Sunday at the Timber Trail rec park for pick-up baseball from 1-3 p.m. Ages (8-14) will be divided up and each group receives a practice time and a game. It’s fun and it’s free. Also, the RHRA is looking for coaches to help with this event. For further information, call Lou at 756-7959.

Fun Runs

The Richmond Hill Roadies and McDonald’s are sanctioning Friday Fun Runs at J.F. Gregory Park. For more details, call Tim Fortier at 308-5278.

Roadies
The Richmond Hill Roadies running club looking for local runners to participate. This chartered running club is a member of the Road Runners Association of America and offers something for runners of all ages. For more information, contact Kathy Ackerman at 756-5865 or Billy Tomlinson at 596-5965.
