Wildcats fall to Glynn Academy

BRUNSWICK - Glynn Academy beat Richmond Hill High School 4-2 on Tuesday in a Region 2A-AAAA baseball game.
The Wildcats took a 2-1 lead in the top of the fifth on consecutive hits by Nathan Ward, Adam Moe and Jalen Reyes. But the Red Terrors responded with three runs in the bottom of the fifth to go up 4-2 and seal the win.
Brandon Greene got the win for the Pirates, striking out 10 and scattering five hits over six innings. He only walked two batters. Casey James recorded the save for Glynn Academy.
Billy Kilmer took the loss for the Wildcats to fall to 1-4. Kilmer threw 4-2/3 innings, striking out one and allowing eight hits.
Ward went 2 for 3 with a double and run scored. Reyes was 1 for 3 with an RBI and Moe was 1 for 3 with a runs cored. Kevin Davis added a single for the Wildcats, who dropped to 0-4 in the region. The Wildcats are 6-5 overall.
Richmond Hill plays at Ware County on Friday, then finishes out the season with 10 straight home games.
