Wildcats 5-0 with win over Liberty

The Wildcats have their first win over Liberty County in nearly a decade and their first 5-0 start since 1996 after defeating the Panthers 14-6 in Hinesville tonight.

They are 1-0 in sub-region 2A-AAAA

Wildcat T.J. Franklin scored Richmond Hill's first touchdown on a 2 yard run in the second quarter and kicker Cannon Rooker made the PAT to go up 7-6. In the fourth quarter Wildcat David Katzam scored on a one yard run, Rooker kicked for the 14-6 win.

The Panthers scored first  on a 92-yard run by Tay Tay Bacon in the opening kick of the game but missed the PAT. Minutes after scoring their first touchdown Shadrach Thornton ran to the outside for a 51 yard touchdown that was wiped away by a holding call.
