Richmond Hill High School fell 2-1 to Houston County in the opening round of the girls' Class AAAAA soccer playoffs on Tuesday at Wildcats Stadium.

Micah Kanicki scored the Lady Wildcats' only goal 15 minutes into the first to give RHHS a 1-0 lead, but Houston County responded with two first-half goals by Liz Upchurch.

The loss ends RHHS' season at 12-3-2. Houston County improved to 14-2.
