Friday Night Fun Runs are underway at J.F. Gregory Park in Richmond Hill.
The series continues at 6:30 p.m. Friday and includes future dates of June 12 and 19 and July 3, 10, 17 and 31.
Runs will continue until the end of August.
Tim Fortier, owner of event co-sponsor Tim & Dave’s Nursery, said last year’s successful Friday Night Fun Runs helped to build community and help runners improve.
Fortier said, “The 3-mile course provides a beautiful setting for runners or walkers and a chance for participants to track their progress since each of the runs will be timed.”
Sandra Elliott, owner of co-sponsor Georgia Game Changers, said there have been many inquiries about the return of the series.
“We love to encourage our community residents to stay local and enjoy what Richmond Hill has to offer,” she said.
