The Bryan County High Redskins track teams battled the cold and windy conditions and scored a big victory over Jeff Davis, Metter, Montgomery County and Savannah Country Day in Pembroke Thursday as the tracksters continue to dominate in this early season.
The highlight of the day was a 35-foot, 3-inch triple jump by junior Tiffany Howard, who tied a school record in that event previously held by Angela Miller.

"This was an important meet for us. We've got a lot of new talent and these early meets let us try the new kids out at different events," coach Blake Nesmith said. "They all responded well and I'm still feeling good about our progress. We'll really find out where we stand the next two weeks. We're going to run at SEB's Plankenhorn Invitational at GSU next Saturday, then will be home for our own Redskin Relays the following Friday."
