I have lived in the Richmond Hill area for over 25 years now and this is the 3rd time we have been in a severe drought. During each time I personally have regularly prayed for rains to come and to give relief, and I know I wasn’t the only one doing this. Rain did come after the first 2 and I am convinced it will happen again.

We are reminded in scripture that it is the Lord who gives us rain. An example of this is found in Zechariah 10:1 where it states, “Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime; it is the Lord who sends the thunderstorms.

He gives showers of rain to all people, and plants of the field to everyone.”

No matter what our needs are, we do need to remember that God through His Word provides us with the answers. Also, the Lord takes pleasure in His children bringing our needs before Him.
