Recently I spoke on the subject of words Christ spoke to His followers. “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest” (Matt. 9:38).

Our world is in such a critical condition that Christians simply cannot turn away and ignore what’s happening. We should realize the importance of being involved and sharing our testimonies of the delivering power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is simply not enough to attend church, or join a church, but as an army of witnesses we must stand for truth. As a nation we are unable to solve our own problems, and have also found that the government is unable to do so. As we approach the elections this year, Christians must step up and support Biblical values.

Let us pray that the Lord will send forth workers who support truth and righteous judgment, and together we will elect godly leaders.

There is a unique story found in the Book of Isaiah. Chapter 6 presents us with a picture from heaven as Isaiah comes face-to-face with the Lord. He realizes his unworthiness and confesses his need. He receives a special touch which changes him forever. When a volunteer was desired, he immediately cried out, “Send me!” He was willing to go, to speak to his people, to present the message from God. Our world is bound with chains of darkness. How else can we explain leaders defying our own laws, mothers killing their children, illegals roaming our streets committing horrendous crimes and being protected by politicians, and our children being confused about their gender because of blinded parents and educators?

Are you willing to cry out as Isaiah did, “Lord, send me”? Join with me in going into the field, your neighborhood, among your friends and family, and let us proclaim the “Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

There’s a better way to live.
