After a motorcade accompanied it down the streets of Richmond Hill Thursday morning to the cheers of passerbys, the "Moving Wall," a half-size replica of the Washington, DC Vietnam Veterans Memorial is now on display until Monday at J.F. Gregory Park in Richmond Hill.
Crews pieced together segments of the wall that include the names of fallen service members from the Vietnam War, including two local men, Harry Lee Boles and Lowry T. Cuthbert.
With additional lighting, the wall will be available for viewing 24/7 over the weekend.
The replica last came to Richmond Hill in 2008. It is the second to the last stop on this year's tour, which took the wall throughout the country.
