There's still time to register for the Bryan Animal Caregivers 3rd Annual "See Spot Run" 5K Run and Walk on Saturday, March 29, at J.F. Gregory Park.

The run will kickoff at 9 a.m. sharp, with walkers starting at 9:15 a.m.

All participants will receive an event t-shirt. Advance registration is $20 and registration the day of the event will be $25.

To download a registration form, visit their website wwwbryanac.org, or www.active.com.

Animal Caregivers President Lisa Stringfellow said there will be more than 50 new categories for placing in this year's race and she hopes everyone will come out to support the event.

There will also offer a microchip clinic from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. in the park. The Liberty Humane Shelter will be providing the chips for $20, which can be used to locate a pet in the event they become lost.

All dogs must be on a leash at all times and owners must provide proof of their pet’s current rabies vaccine. Runners and walkers without a dog are also welcome.

All proceeds from the 5K will benefit the Bryan Animal Caregivers Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Program, which is responsible for aiding in the sterilization of over 1700 domestic and feral animals since 2003.
